Wideview combines a rebellious spirit with traditional know-how. Think of us as hackers who break down barriers, but still do things by the book. If it hasn’t been done before, we don’t ask why – we simply work harder to figure out how.
Our Story
CJ Chi founded Wideview in October 2021 and built a determined team of experts who share his passion for computer image processing. In addition to his role as a startup visionary and founder, he is also a Ph.D. candidate at National Taiwan University. His expertise and insight in the world of data compression algorithms have been peer-reviewed and published in numerous papers.
Theoretical science and academic innovation drive us forward, but we’re even more passionate about making it real. Wideview puts world-changing technology where it belongs – back in the hands of developers and changemakers!
Our team is hard at work building the world’s biggest 3D car crash database, a predictive collision-avoidance engine for autonomous vehicles, and a lightning-fast 3D map generator. When our 3D mapping software first launched, we celebrated and patted each other on the back; then we immediately got back to work.
The possibilities are endless, and our conversion software is getting better every day. As long as the world keeps driving, we’ll never stop improving. Our goal is to become the biggest, best 3D model provider with maps that empower every industry.
